With over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor space at AMD, Bharath is one of the leading strategists in the technology sector, with a strong background and experience in technology, manufacturing, marketing, strategy and business development.
Bharath has been responsible for creating and executing some game-changing moves including large acquisitions and divestitures that enabled AMD's transformation into technology-leader and volume microprocessor solutions provider. His strategies and transactions enabled the creation of GLOBALFOUNDRIES, a powerhouse in the capital-intensive semiconductor manufacturing segment, right in the middle of the financial crisis.
A visionary, with a strong sense for business fundamentals, Bharath's passion is to create value through growth and innovation. Bharath holds bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Delhi, a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
